XGP Bluetooth Headset V5.2
TL;DR (Verdict)
Clear calls and a clever rear USB-C port make this a solid budget pick. Music is clear but light on bass, and Google Assistant didn’t work for me. Rating: 4/5
What I Bought
Product: XGP Bluetooth Headset V5.2
Price Paid / Date: $59.99 on July 31, 2025 - Amazon: https://amzn.to/3HvfBX1
Helmet Tested: 1Storm HB89 (modular)
Typical Speeds & Roads: 30–60 mph on rural highways and around town
Why I Chose It
I’ve had other headsets with the charge port on the bottom, and I kept pushing on the plug when changing tracks. This one tucks the USB-C port on the back, which avoids that problem.
Highlights (Quick Hits)
Music: Clear at higher volumes; bass is limited (normal at this price).
Calls: Very clear for both sides.
Controls/Ergonomics: Buttons are easy to find; rear USB-C reduces strain on the cable/port.
Pros
Rear USB-C port is less likely to bend when you’re pressing buttons a lot
Clear call quality
Economical—good value at this price
Cons
Google Assistant didn’t work for me
Speakers could be louder, especially at higher speeds
