XGP Bluetooth Headset V5.2

TL;DR (Verdict)
Clear calls and a clever rear USB-C port make this a solid budget pick. Music is clear but light on bass, and Google Assistant didn’t work for me. Rating: 4/5

What I Bought

  • Product: XGP Bluetooth Headset V5.2

  • Price Paid / Date: $59.99 on July 31, 2025 - Amazon: https://amzn.to/3HvfBX1

  • Helmet Tested: 1Storm HB89 (modular)

  • Typical Speeds & Roads: 30–60 mph on rural highways and around town

Why I Chose It

I’ve had other headsets with the charge port on the bottom, and I kept pushing on the plug when changing tracks. This one tucks the USB-C port on the back, which avoids that problem.

Highlights (Quick Hits)

  • Music: Clear at higher volumes; bass is limited (normal at this price).

  • Calls: Very clear for both sides.

  • Controls/Ergonomics: Buttons are easy to find; rear USB-C reduces strain on the cable/port.

Pros

  • Rear USB-C port is less likely to bend when you’re pressing buttons a lot

  • Clear call quality

  • Economical—good value at this price

Cons

  • Google Assistant didn’t work for me

  • Speakers could be louder, especially at higher speeds
